Hi! We’re Karen & David!
If you had told us a few years ago that we’d be starting a coffee cart together, we probably wouldn’t have believed you.
It all started with a morning cup of coffee. Every day before work, David would make Karen a specialty coffee. Sometimes it was a classic latte, other days it was something completely new that he wanted to try. It became our little routine. A few quiet minutes together before the day got busy. Seeing how something as simple as a great cup of coffee could make us so happy got us thinking…
What if we could bring that same feeling to other people?
So we combined the two things we love most: great coffee and community. And that’s how Calla came to life.
With years of experience in retail management, we’ve developed a deep appreciation for the details that elevate a simple experience into an exceptional one. From thoughtful service to carefully considered presentation, those lessons continue to guide everything we do at Calla.
Today, we serve handcrafted coffee, matcha, chai, refreshers, and seasonal drinks at weddings, corporate events, private celebrations, and local markets across New England and New York.

We truly believe people remember how you make them feel. Whether we’re serving 30 guests or 300, we want everyone who walks up to the cart to feel welcomed. We love getting to know people, hearing their stories, and learning about what makes each person unique.

We’re also big believers that the little things matter. A beautifully made latte. A handwritten menu. A custom cup with your wedding crest. Flowers on the cart. Your company’s logo on our aprons. Those thoughtful details are our favorite part of what we do.
